da Vinci-Trained Surgeon
For those patients whose medical condition requires hysterectomy, Dr. Grover recommends minimally-invasive procedures such as Robotic-assisted da Vinci Hysterectomy. Patients who undergo this operation are often able to leave the hospital in less than 24 hours and return to work within 7 to 10 days. Learn more at daVinciSurgery.com.
Dr. Grover was the first OB/GYN physician at Sky Ridge Medical Center and Parker Adventist Hospital trained in da Vinci Robot-assisted Surgery. This allows him to perform complex pelvic surgeries including hysterectomy and myomectomy in a minimally-invasive manner such that patients who would otherwise have to have open surgery can have robotic-assisted surgery with small abdominal incisions. These patients are routinely able to get out of bed, walk around in their room, eat normal food and void without a catheter immediately after surgery. Da Vinci hysterectomy patients go home the same day or the next morning and are back to work in one week or less.
Dr. Grover has trained many other surgeons in Colorado, Florida, Missouri, and Ohio in this cutting-edge surgical technology. He has participated in the World Robotic Gynecology Congress and has attended several courses in Robotic Surgery around the country.
